The Sweet Onion Animal Protection Society or SOAPS is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Our organizations works strictly from donations and community support. We have an operating group in Vidalia and Hazlehurst. We offer many services to our community including a reduced spay/neuter program for individuals needing financial assistance spaying/neutering their pet, a financial assistance program for doghouses, community education and our own foster care program for animals in need of homes. We also work with local animal shelters to provide medical care, donate needed supplies and to also help find these animals homes by advertisement and having reduced priced adoption days.
